Ram Gopal Varma, who is always in a mood to make a dig at Karan Johar, was full of praises for the filmmaker’s forthcoming movie ‘Student Of The Year’ (SOTY).

Calling it one of the best films of Karan, RGV in his micro-blogging site wrote that he simply loves SOTY. "Student Of The Year truly, really and honestly looks like it's the best film of Karan Johar and the bestest film of Indian cinema ever.

I love the sheer, never-before-seen imagery and the extraordinary originality and even more extraordinary directorial brilliance." RGV wrote.

Surprisingly he said that he wants to be Karan’s student and even rated KJo far above some legendary filmmakers. "I don't know about Student Of The Year, but I would want to be a student for life of Karan Johar's cinema."

"I rate Karan Johar far far more higher than Mehboob Khan, V. Shantaram, Raj Kapoor, Guru Dutt and Bimal Roy. Kudos to Karan Johar for making Varun Dhawan make me forget Shah Rukh Khan," added Varma whose film ‘Bhoot Returns’ releases on 12th Oct, before SOTY (19th Oct).

RGV went on to add that he believes that SOTY will surpass the success which ‘3 Idiots’ made. "'Kuch Kuch ho gaya mujhe Student Of The Year trailer dekhte dekhte.

I strongly feel Student Of The Year will break the records of 3 Idiots," penned Varma.
