Disha, the Hyderabad veterinary doctor's brutal rape and murder last year, shook the nation. Soon after catching the four accused (Mohammad Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu), the cops killed them in an encounter.
Last week, Ram Gopal Varma announced a film titled 'Disha'. In making the film, the 'Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu' director has interviewed Renuka, 17-year-old pregnant wife of Chenna Keshavulu.
"Not only Disha, the bastard made his own wife a victim too. She is a child giving birth to a child and both have no future, as they both will carry the stigma of being the rapist's wife and child. It is truly disheartening that such criminals leave behind great misery not only to the families they hurt but also their own blood," RGV said.
The interview, aired on a TV channel on Sunday night, saw RGV asking the encountered rapist's wife some interesting questions. "I did feel sad when I learned about my husband's encounter. The police took 18 days to hand over his dead body. A couple of days later, my father-in-law met with a road accident and has been undergoing treatment," she said.
RGV also donated some money for the well-being of Renuka and her yet-to-be-born child. Through the TV channel, he requested the general public to donate any amount then can by transferring money to a bank account. "Renuka and her child shouldn't suffer for the crime committed by Chenna Kesavulu," RGV said.
