Ram Gopal Varma's ways of promoting his movies range from silly to foolhardy to even controversial. With 'Lakshmi's NTR', he is mixing all these three elements to gain maximum mileage.

On Tuesday, the controversial director took to Twitter to float a political poll. He asked his followers to say whether 'Lakshmi's NTR' will affect the Andhra Pradesh election result or not. In other words, he wants the participants to say whether the TDP will be at a loss because of the film.

"About 10.000 votes in 1 hour 30 minutes and 70% think #LakshmiNTR will affect the election result in AP," RGV replied.

Meanwhile, the filmmaker continues to remind the audience of Chandrababu Naidu's "Vennu potu" politics. He has even released a video in which an NTR-like voice blasts Naidu.
