RGV flip-flop between Big B to Mohit Ahlawat

Ram Gopal Verma has already announced Mohit Ahlawat as the man who would be playing Jai in his version of 'Sholay'. Well, this could come from the fact that each of his last few directorial ventures have revolved around either Big B or Mohit!

Starting with 'Sarkar' where he presented Amitabh Bachchan as a hero all over again and redeemed himself after a disastrous 'Naach', he went on to direct Mohit Ahlawat for the songs in 'James' [though was the film was directed by Rohit Jugraj]. This was followed by the single episode of 'Darna Zaroori Hai' directed by him. It was the very same episode that featured Amitabh and Riteish Deshmukh.

This was not all as he was busy working on two more projects in parallel. First to begin was his so-called version of 'James' which he titled as 'Shiva' and roped in Mohit for the title role of a no-nonsense cop. While the film is being readied for an August 18th release, he has already wrapped up the shoot of 'Nishabd' at a lightening pace few weeks back. No brownie points for guessing that it stars Amitabh in the central role!

While his 'Sarkar' sequel cannot be completed without Big B, the most interesting venture would be his version of 'Sholay' where Mohit would be playing the part originally enacted by Big B while the latter would step up the ladder by playing 'Gabbar Singh'!

While RGV's love for working with Big B and Mohit continues, it is ironical to say the least as the same man has always being accused of repeating his leading ladies, starting from Urmila Matondkar to Antara Mali to Nisha Kothari! And how about the facts above for some food for thought?

Himesh Reshamiya has turned a full cycle. Last year, it was almost the same time when he struck gold with the catchy-n-tangy tunes of ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’. “Call Me Bipasha,” says Viveik

There’s something about Viveik Oberoi that’s putting-off and likable at the same time.
