Taking a strong exception to how Vangaveeti Ranga is portrayed in the film 'Vangaveeti', the Vangaveeti Yuva Sena has reportedly issued a statement saying that the biased portrayal of their icon be rectified. While Ranga, says the organization, took up social causes, the same is not adequately documented by the film. The said outfit alleges that the portions presenting Ranga in a positive light were shot but purged out.

It has to be seen if RGV tells the outfit to appreciate the fact that Ranga is shown to be fighting for the causes of the backwards, albeit only as a footnote.

On his part, he has already said this much. "On his death anniversary, I wish Ranga instead of resting in peace tells his uninformed followers what I showed is right..Jai Mohana Ranga."
