RGV decodes Pappu slur on Nara Lokesh, slams Chirus title

Ram Gopal Varma has responded to the criticism that he is going to depict Nara Lokesh as an immature guy in his film 'Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu'.  In the film's teaser, Chandrababu Naidu-lookalike is seen serving dal to a Lokesh-lookalike.  The visual seems to be coded.  Dal means 'pappu' in Telugu.  And 'pappu' is derisively used to describe Lokesh.

"What is comical about a father serving 'pappu' to his son?  Did I say that they are CBN and Lokesh in my movie?  There is no character by name CBN in my movie.  It's just a coincidence that the looks are similar.  I never knew that Lokesh is nicknamed Pappu by his critics on social media.  I am not feigning innocence," RGV said, speaking to a TV channel.

What about the casteist title?  "Isn't 'Justice Chowdhary' a casteist title?  Isn't 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' a casteist title?  How can you say that I am stoking casteist passions with 'KRKR'.  Why do you say that Kammas and Reddys are quarrelling in my film?  How do you know it?  Maybe, some other caste groups are fighting," RGV commented.

"I have definitely shown in the movie some secrets that I came to know from my trusted sources.  'KRKR' will show what has happened between them (YS Jagan and CBN), what is happening and what will happen," the controversial director added.

What about the film 'Mega Family' which he shelved?  "I did want to do a film titled 'Mega Family', which is about 39 children.  By Mega, I don't mean Megastar.  I mean something that is large.  I dropped the idea because I don't want to make a film on kids," he added.
