Ram Gopal Varma has written and rendered a song to scare the sh*t out of the Coronavirus. Calling it 'Mudanashtapu purugu', the occasionally eccentric filmmaker curses it and also bats for the ongoing lockdown.
In one of the stanzas, RGV laments that the virus is too microscopic to be murdered with a knife or bombarded with a bomb. But is the virus even a living creature? Never mind. RGV does too many things for no rhyme or reason.
Inspired by WhatsApp creativity, he croons that Coronavirus can eviscerate the Superman and maim the Godzilla.
The one line from the song that is good is this: 'Kaani chivariki manche jarugu.' You know why.
The half-baked, unimaginative song has music by Sandy Addanki, who may have blindly copied a brain-dead tune from a brain-dead RGV movie. If this song doesn't kill Coronavirus, don't know what will.
