RGV clarifies about 'pitting Mega father-son duo against Allu Arjun'

In April, Ram Gopal Varma tweeted something controversial. After Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan imitated Allu Arjun's 'Thaggede Le' mannerism in a promo video ahead of the release of 'Acharya', RGV wondered if Allu Arjun was the new 'Mega' after 'Pushpa: The Rise' became a stunning blockbuster.
IndiaGlitz today asked the controversial director if he dislikes the Megastar-Mega Power Star duo or something. His reply was revealing. "I love the Mega family. I felt that someone like Chiranjeevi imitating Allu Ramalingaiah's grandson was ironic," RGV commented.
But doesn't RGV occasionally try to make fun of the Mega family heroes? "I pass comments about everyone all the time. I comment on everyone from Narendra Modi down to Subba Rao and Appa Rao. When I tweet about famous people, my comments grab attention owing to their popularity," Ramu suggested.
The director's 'Konda' will hit the screens on June 23. Thrigun has played Konda Murali and Irra Mor has played Konda Surekha in the biopic.
