The trailer launch event of 'Attack' was held yesterday at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. RGV, C.Kalyan, Manchu Manoj, Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana etc attended the event
Ram Gopal Varma said, "Many felt that I've completely gone mad after watching my recent films. They can't understand why a director, who directed 'Shiva', is making such films. Last year, I decided to do only experimental films. But C.Kalyan wanted me to do films what audiences love. So we did this movie. I believe in characters. Manoj gave a very realistic performance, though he is a masala hero".
Manoj said, "I am a big fan of RGV. After watching films like 'Shiva' and 'Rangeela', I wanted to work with him. I was thrilled hearing this story. We took time to make this movie. I hope the film will be loved".
C.Kalyan said, "I used to quarrel with RGV every day over the films he is making. I said that his hardwork was being wasted. I convinced him to direct this movie, because if he makes a good film, the whole industry discusses about it. Manoj is very apt for the lead role. After watching the first copy, we felt something is missing and reshot for a week. The budget is big. Anji's photography is excellent and he will definitely receive award. More than money, I want RGV to be back with this movie. We will release the audio next week and the film in the third week of November. We are confident that this film will as big a hit as 'Mayuri', produced by us this year".
