Rey unit shoots in Hyderabad

Director YVS Choudary after some gap again wielding the megaphone for his own banner and bringing out a film titled ‘Rey’ introducing Sai Dharam Teja, nephew of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, as hero.

The shooting was formally launched on Vijayadasami Day last year. However, the shooting of the film was delayed due to the strike in the Tollywood and as a result, the Visa time for their abroad schedule was lapsed. After obtaining fresh Visas, the unit had left for the US and continued shooting in the US from March 26 to April 26.

Even before going to the US, the unit had been to Malaysia to shoot some action scenes under the choreography of fight master Stun Siva. The film unit returned to India and continued its shooting.

As per the demand of the story, the first part of the film was to be shot in the West Indies and the second half of the film have to be shot in the US.

Producer cum director Choudhary says, ‘We are shooting the film well within the limits of the FDC. It is basically a love story with music in its backdrop. We kept an interesting tagline ‘Shout for Success’. We are making efforts to release the film in this year itself.’ Choudary is known for bringing out successful films with all new faces and this film would also be on the lines of ‘Sitaramula Kalyanamu Chotamu Rarandi, Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo and Devadasu’.

Subra Ayyappa is making her debut as heroine with this film. Besides producing the film, Choudary is providing story, screenplay besides producing the movie.
