The Rajakumar Empire key person for a long time learning tricks of the business of entertainment from mother Dr Parvathamma Rajakumar and acting skills from icon of the family Dr Rajakumar – Raghavendra Rajakumar returns to singing and acting after 14 years. The last film Raghanna acted was ‘Pakkad Mane Hudgi’ in 2004.

Raghanna is multifaceted today besides looking after the Empire of Dr Rajakumar, he is in to social activities, guiding his son Gururaj in Dr Rajakumar IAS Academy, looking after scripts for his first son Vinay Rajakumar films. Ailment is not a blockade for him. The God has given a small set back and permitted my brain to think on various facets of life says Raghanna speaking to a few media friends at Chamundesware Studio on Saturday evening.

·         I am completely blessed. When I suffered from stroke, 48 hours was the time given by doctors. My mother came and told me that I will be alright keeping her hand on my head. Now I am returning to various film activities, she is not there to see it. This is life.

·         Dr Rajakumar IAS Academy brain child of my second child Gururaj is shaping up well. 16 students are qualified to write examinations from it. One is a blind girl. She has been admirer of my father Dr Rajakumar. She wants to come home and tell how Dr Rajakumar inspired her to take up IAS. There is Sridevi in the Dr Rajakumar IAS Academy supporting my son Gururaj. The thought of this IAS Academy came up in my son Gururaj mind. He made a thorough survey of it. finally came one day and said he wants my encouragement. Society has given so much to Dr Rajakumar family, we should give something to the society was his ideology.

·         After we started this IAS Academy the lecturers and professors from various places shown interest in being part of this Academy. Those who take lakhs of rupees as fees for one session are teaching free to students. They are all fans of my father Dr Rajakumar. This is what we call it as a person becoming useful even after death. That distinction goes to my father Dr Rajakumar.

·         Raghanna has accepted three films as on today and delivered a song ‘Adisi Nodu Bilisi Nodu…in Hemanth Kumar music direction for doyen director SK Bhagwan ‘Aduva Gombe’ Kannada cinema. It has brought cheers in Raghanna.

·         I was born during Mantralaya Mahatme cinema shooting. Dorai and Bhagwan were directors and I was named Raghavendra. Now the rebirth in cinema is given by Bhagwan for his film ‘Aduva Gombe’. What a great coincidence.

·         ‘Chillam’ in Chandrakala direction (Kwatle director) is a villain role. She has great confidence to show me as a sophisticated villain. Next is a film for director Pratham a horror film. Third film I have accepted is in national award winning director Nikil Manju direction ‘Ammana Mane’. Nikil wants to show the society the affection of parents through my role in the film. He had given strong reason to keep the title. He had seen me with Amma and Appaji always. How I manage now is his thinking in the film.

·         After May 30, my mother first death anniversary I am getting in to acting.

·         Dr Rajakumar Souhardha Award for last two years and this year is pending. There will be change for 2018 Souhardha award.

·         The change is that one of the three awards will be in my mother name from 2018. A committee will be set up with doctors, journalists, industry personalities to select the precise persons. It will be Rs.1.5 lakhs of cash prize.

·         Vajreshwari combines under which various banners are launched is up to 100 films. Making 100 films will be another distinction.

·         In Ananth Verses Nusrat of Vinay Rajakumar a song of ‘Chalisuva Modagalu’ – My Lord Nanna Vaada….will be recreated for this scenario. After 36 years this song is again used for the present scenario.

·         According to my two of film family that too couple at a short distance for a memorial has not happened anywhere. That is my parents at Kanteerava studio. My mother memorial will be converted as Yoga center. A pyramid connecting the two will be set up. As the people move from this place to Appaji memorial they will carry something in their head.
