Retired IAS Rathna Prabha to join BJP

Retired IAS officer Rathna Prabha has joined the BJP on Wednesday. She has served as Karnataka's Chief Secretary in the past.
I have decided to join BJP as Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has been striving to develop the country in a unique manner. I wanted to do service to the nation and I felt this was one party apt for me to fulfill my desires to work for the people, she said.
Months ago, Aparajitha Sarangi, a well-known former IAS officer from Odisha, joined the saffron party. She is contesting as MP from Bhubaneshwar. She had quit the civil services last year to make her political entry.
