Resting on his laurels

After having given a blockbuster in Chandramukhi, director P Vasu can afford to take it easy.
He now is all set to take a back seat now.
The director says "after a long lay off, I staged a comeback and gave a big hit in Chandramukhi. Now expectations will be high on my next. Hence, I want to take a break before I begin my next".
However it doesn't mean that Vasu is taking a break from filmdom. Vasu is currently busy acting in a movie.
He is playing a baddie in a movie titled Manikanda staring Arjun in the lead role. Actress Nalini plays Vasu's wife in the movie.
Following Manikanda, Vasu will direct a movie in Kannada and only after completing the movie, he would begin his next Tamil directorial venture.
He can afford to rest on his laurels for some time.
