The orchestra owner, studio proprietor and music director Renukumar is turning director from a Kannada film ‘Shabdamani’ that is on floor at picturesque locales of Sakleshpur.

Dr Girish Karnad, Jnanapeeth award winner is playing the prominent role and Shruthi the talented actress of over 100 films is playing the female lead. The film ‘Shabdamani’ is all about a warrior of Dakshin Kannada district.

Renukumar the owner of Renu Digital studio has scored music for Kannada film ‘Hori’ and a Tulu film ‘Kanchildha Baale’ has penned the story, screenplay, scoring the music and directing his ambitious project.

As a music director and lyricist in the past V Manohar became the director from ‘O Mallige’ super hit Kannada cinema. Later V Manohar ‘Indradhanush’ was flop and after that he did not make an attempt.

Now another music director is heading the megaphone. Renukumar has roped in Harsha, Sushma, Sanketh Kashi, Mohan Juneja, Vijayasarathi RG, Master Sithil Somanna, Misha Iyer, Hari Rayappa and others for the cast.

Ramnarayan, Renukumar penned the lyrics, Shyam Shimoga has lent the dialogues. Smt Chandravathi is the producer.
