Actress-filmmaker Renu Desai shared heartbreaking news about the passing of her mother. In a heartfelt post on social media, Renu shared an old photo of her mother and confirmed that she passed away.
Sharing the news, she quoted a sloka of Adishankaracharya, which is as follows:
“Punarapi jananam punarapi maranam,
Punarapi janani jatare sayanam,
Iha samsaare bahu dusthare,
Krupayaa pare pahi murare.”
Again and again one is born,
And again and again one dies,
And again and again one sleeps in the mother’s womb,
Help me to cross,
This limitless sea of Life,Which is uncrossable, my Lord.

The news has left her fans shocked and mourning alongside her. Many took to social media to express their condolences and offer words of support, hoping she finds the strength to endure this difficult time.
Renu, born into a Gujarati family in Pune, Maharashtra, began her career in the film industry with the 2000 film Badri. She gained immense popularity for her performances and also contributed as a costume designer and model.
After taking a long break from acting, she recently returned to the screen with Tiger Nageswara Rao, starring Ravi Teja.
On the family front, Renu’s son Akira Nandan is reportedly inclined towards becoming a music director. However, fans of Pawan Kalyan are hopeful he will follow in his father’s footsteps and debut as an actor.
