When she said that she was looking for a life partner last year, not many believed that Renu Desai would walk the talk on marriage. Days after suggesting on Instagram that she had found her true love, the 'Badri' actress got engaged to an as-yet-unknown man on Sunday.

"Thank you all my well wishers for the beautiful messages," is all what she said, posting a semi-cropped pic. She is happy that her son and daughter with her first husband, Pawan Kalyan, were by her side as she entered the new phase.

Renu was all of 19 when she started a live-in relationship with Pawan Kalyan, who by then had officially divorced his first wife Nandini. It was during their live-in phase that Akira Nandan was born. After Power Star started facing allegations from political rivals for not marrying Renu, the actor formally married her in 2009.

It was in 2012 that Renu and Pawan got divorced. During the launch of Jana Sena Party in 2014, the actor made it public that Renu (without taking her name) was happy to be living her own life.

Four years later, she is now set to be somebody's wife. And her ex-husband is living happily with foreign-born Anna Lezhneva, with whom he has two kids. As for Renu's kids Akira and Aadhya, Pawan has been fulfilling his responsibilities towards them as a father.
