It's known that Renu Desai has been planning a Telugu film for more than a year now. The former actress, who divorced Pawan Kalyan a few years ago, wants to make a Tollywood comeback by wielding the megaphone for a Telugu movie. And she has chosen to tell a story related to agriculture.

As reported by an English-language daily, Renu is going to make it as a children's movie. She has done her homework. As against commercial entertainers like 'Maharshi', this film will talk about farming and farming-related issues from the inquisitive perspective of children. Perhaps, this is going to lend a touch of novelty to the movie.

To be based in Telangana, the untitled project will release later this year.

Children's films don't have much market in India. Moreover, there is the risk of a film on agriculture sounding like a documentary.
