It's known that Renu Desai is doing a documentary on farmers. She was recently to Kurnool district to interview a few farmers in a drought-hit area. Renu's endeavour has needlessly irked a troll, who messaged her on Instagram saying that she is doing a cosmetic job by wearing make-up. He used the forbidden 'F' word to express his frustration.

Put off by the message, Renu has lamented that celebs are wrongly expected to put up with the use of the 'F' word. "If a celeb were to use the same word for an ordinary person, there would be hullabaloo. But when celebs become a target of such abuse, they are expected to keep quiet," Renu wrote on Instagram.

"It's unfortunate that my attempt to do my bit for farmers has led to this abuse. Hope there comes a day when these anonymous trolls realize their mistake and rectify themselves," Renu said.
