The other day, Renu Desai couldn't be followed on Instagram by any and everyone. Minutes after she broke the news that she had got engaged to someone, the privacy settings of her Insta page were changed to Private.  Only those who would be approved by her could follow her.  

The reason why Renu changed the privacy settings is that she was flooded with abuses and threats by sections of Pawan Kalyan's fans soon after she made her second marriage official.  One anonymous fan went to the extent of threatening to kill her.

Speaking to a national daily, Renu has revealed that she promptly complained to the police about the violent 'I-will-kill-you' post by the anonymous troll.  The post was gotten deleted later.  Renu is not ready to take such "virtual threats" lightly because, she says, you never know what the particular troll is capable of.  What if he is really capable of killing someone?
