Renu clarifies on decision to marry Pawan

In a recent interview, when Renu Desai said that her decision to share life with her ex-husband Pawan Kalyan was an "impulsive" one, it got many of Power Star's die-hard fans slamming her on social media.
The now-outspoken woman has elaborated on the same when someone asked her about her recent statement. "You had been in a live-in relationship with him (Pawan) when you got married. How come it's impulsive?" a follower asked. To this, Renu said: "The decision was taken in 2000 when I was just 19! Legal marriage happened much later! Hope you are able to understand the word 'decision', not the act".
Pawan married Renu after his entry into Praja Rajyam Party in 2008 in the face of criticism that he had been living-in with a woman and even had a child without marrying her.
