Scriptwriter-director Renjith is finally initiating steps to debut in Tamil with a new film which features Prithviraj in the lead. Karthika will appear as the heroine of this untitled movie.

The director who was going through turbulent times following the big flops of his films like ‘Prajapathy’, ‘Chandrotsavam’ and ‘Rock N Roll’, is said to make important changes in his career planning.

Following this, he was recently seen as the lead actor of Jayaraj film 'Gulmohar'. Renjith is also concentrating much on his own productions in the banner of Capital Cinema. He is directing a new movie ‘Thirakkatha' in his own banner which features Prithviraj in the lead.

Plans are also on to produce another wholesome commercial movie in Malayalam with hit maker Anwar Rasheed, who was also a former assistant to Renjith.
