Renjith was once branded as a scriptwriter specialized for Mohanlal hits. And in the course of years he has created some of the best and highest grosser of Malluwood for Mohanlal like Narasimham, Aaramthampuraan and Usthaad.

But of late as the scripter turned to direction, he has become the favorite of the other super star Mammootty. Their first outing together in Black was a hit but thereafter Prajapathi which was released a couple of months back couldn't make it big in box-office. But that doesn't became a matter of disinterest as the superstar has already completed another short feature film with Ranjith's Kaiyoppu - a film aimed for the film festival audience.

Moreover the star has acted for free in this film which was completed in a matter of fifteen days. The latest news is that Renjith is preparing scripts for a number of films in the future with Mammootty as the hero.

The immediate one to reach the sets will be the film by Amal Neerad in which Renjith is writing the role of Bombay returned bodyguard. The next Mammootty film with Joshy will also have a storyline by Renjith which will start shooting by next May.
