Certain student and human rights organizations from Rayalaseema have raised objections to 'Aravindha Sametha'. They have alleged that the film portrays Seema in a negative light and unnecessarily tries to provoke dormant factionalism in the region.
Their demand is that Trivikram Srinivas should not only delete certain "offensive" portions from the NTR-Jagapathi Babu-Pooja Hegde movie but also tender an apology to the people of the region. "Violent scenes in the movie will have a negative influence on youngsters. In case the objectional scenes are not removed, we will oppose the screening of 'Aravindha Sametha' in theatres," the organization's representatives today said in Hyderabad.
Even when films like 'Narasimha Naidu' and 'Okkadu' were released many years ago, such objections were heard.
