Remo
After delivering back to back super hits actor Sivakarthikeyan is on the verge of completing shoot for 'Remo' directed by debutant Bhagyaraj Kannan a former associate of director Atlee. The film is being produced on a grand scale by Sivakarthikeyan's good friend RD Raja under his 24AM Studios banner.
Touted to be a romcom, 'Remo' stars Sivakarthikeyan and his 'Rajini Murugan' pair Keerthy Suresh in lead roles. Saranya the quintessential artist for mother characters in Kollywood, plays the hero's mother while Aadukalam Naren and Kalyani Natarajan play the parents of the heroine. Sathish and Naan Kadavul Rajendran appear as Sivakarthikeyan's friends in the film. Malayalam actor Anso Paul plays the lead villain and this is his first film in Tamil. Yogi Babu plays a comical area rowdy.
Veteran actor Mouli plays a drama teacher while Swaminathan acts as a drama artist in the film. K.S.Ravikumar has played his real life role as a film director while Mayilsamy will appear as the flat security and can be expected to provide some comic relief.
The technical crew includes Anirudh Ravichander (Music), P.C.Sreeram (Cinematography), Resul Pookutty (Sound Design), Ruben (Editing), Anal Arasu (Stunt Choreography), T.Muthuraj (Art Direction), Raju Sundaram and Birnda (Dance Choreography), Sean Foot (Special Prosthetic Makeup), Nikki Rajani (Special Makeup), Tuney John (Poster Design), Anu Parthasarathy and Chaitanya Rao (Costume Designers).
The team released the first look motion poster, and theme music by organizing a grand function which was attended by the top technicians and celebrities of film industry and that has garnered more attention to this already much anticipated film.
Sivakarthikeyan will apparently appear in four different getups in the film and one among them is that of a Nurse. The first look revealed this nurse look of Siva and it has become an instant hit. The trailer that was released on September has crossed five million views in YouTube. The songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander are ruling the audio market.
Adding to the fortunes the film has also acquired a clean U certificate from the Censor Board officials.
'Remo' is all set to hit the screens on October 7, 2016 for the long Aayudha Pooja holiday weekend.
