Directed by the legendary V. Shantaram, the 1959 released ‘Navrang’ will soon have a new-age version. If all goes well, Remo D'Souza will remake the classic music and dance film, which in fact was India's first colour film.

While news was in the circles that the choreographer-turned-director will make a sequel of his recently released hit film ‘ABCD’, latest buzz is that Remo is keen to remake ‘Navrang’. Remo, who always dreamed of remaking the age-old film, is currently in talks to acquire the rights of the film.

However, he will first work on the ‘ABCD’ sequel and after wrapping it up will consider remaking ‘Navrang’, only if he successfully gets the rights.

‘ABCD - Any Body Can Dance’ released on 2nd Feb, stars Prabhudheva, Ganesh Acharya, Dance India Dance winners Salman Khan, Dharmesh, Prince, Mayuresh and Vrushali and Lauren Gottlieb.
