Keerthy is the daughter of yesteryear heroine Menaka and film producer Suresh in Kerala. She made her acting debut as a child artist in the Malayalam film 'Pilots' that released in 2000 and continued her stint as a child artist in a few more years. Keerthy then acted as the main female character in director Priyadharshan's 'Geethanjali' which had Malayalam superstar Mohanlal as the lead.

On the eve of her birthday it has been confirmed that she will be the female lead in Suriya's 35th film 'Thaana Serndha Koottam'. She is also in talks for a few other promising projects with top heroes.
