Religious fervor in air

Most producers go to temple for the success of their films.

But Konda Krishnam Raju is different. The producer of the highly-expected Sri Ramadasu has brought the temple feeling to those buying the film’s audio.

It may be recalled the movie’s audio was refreshingly launched at the Bhadrachalam temple something that has not been attempted in Telugu films before.

No wadding to the religious fervor, those buying the audio were given prasadam and kumkum, a photo calendar and a song book.

This movie about the saint poet Ramadasu may also be dubbed in Hindi.

The film has 19 songs, all brilliantly tuned by M M Keeravani (much like he did in Annamaiya), and are considered winners. K Raghavendra Rao direction is also being talked of highly.

The film is most likely to be released on February 23, on the eve of Maha Shivaratri.
