Superstar Rajinikanth benevolently donated Rs.10 Lakhs for the relief measures towards for Chennai city and its people affected by severe rains even before the last week's rain and flood that lashed out the city. After the last week's deluge the star cancelled his birthday celebrations and also appealed to his fans to not celebrate his birthday and concentrate on relief work happening in Chennai.

Adding to these now the star, along with his family has sponsored relief materials to the rain affected victims of Chennai. Rajinikanth's wife Latha Rajinikanth packed and handed over the relief materials from their Poes Garden Residence to the members of Rajinikanth Fan clubs who will distribute the materials to the needy people on the ground.

We can expect that these materials will be distributed by Rajini fans to the people tomorrow to mark the 65th birthday of the evergreen Superstar.
