On Jan 24, the Nampally court had issued summon on Mahesh Babu and director Koratala Siva, for violating the Copyright Act in making Srimanthudu on the basis of a story published in Swathi magazine in 2012.

The author of the story Chacchenta Prema, Sarath Chandra, moved the court against the duo.

After listening to the arguments of the defense lawyer of Mahesh and Koratala, who filed separate petitions against the lower court's summons, the High Court has issued a stay order on the implementation of the summons.

This is a relief for the two celebs.
