Actor Shane Nigam's Veyil is one of the most anticipated movies of actor Shane Nigam. The movie was slated to release on January 28th this year. However, owing to the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, the movie's release has been pushed. Recently, the actor himself took to his official social media pages to announce the same. In the official letter, it was mentioned that the released date was pushed to an indefinite period and that the rescheduled date for the release will be soon announced once the number of Covid cases settles down.

Written and directed by debutante Sharath, who has earlier assisted the renowned filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery in the highly acclaimed films Angamali Diaries and Ee Ma Yau, the upcoming movie is a realistic thriller. Apart from Shane, the movie also features Suraj Venjaramoodu in an important role. The movie's trailer was released recently and it promises to be a family emotional roller coaster ride.

'Veyil’ was in the news for all the wrong reasons after actor Shane made severe allegations against the movie's producer Joby George of giving him death threats. On the other side, the producer accused Shane of unprofessional behavior, which eventually led to a temporary ban of the actor in Mollywood. After multiple discussions of various associations in the Mollywood industry, the problem was solved and the shoot resumed.

Actor Shane Nigam, who is basking in the success of his latest OTT release 'Bhoothakalam', has several ambitious projects in the pipeline that includes ‘Ullasam’, ‘Qurbaani’, ‘Bermuda’, and many more.
