After his action packed entertainer Action which was released last year, actor Vishal is gearing up for the release of his next movie Chakra, which has been produced by the actor himself in his Vishal Film Factory banner and directed by debutant MS Anandan.

MS Anandan, who had assisted Ezhil earlier has made this movie as a technological thriller, which has Vishal playing a soldier and Shraddha Srinath, who chooses different characters has been roped in to play a police officer. Chakra also stars Regina Cassandra in a key role.

Chakra also features Srushti Dange, KR Vijaya, Robo Shankar, Manobala and many others, and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Balasubramaniem and editing by Sameer Mohammed. Shot in Chennai and Coimbatore, Chakra releases on May 1.
