Ajay Devgan has several films under his belt left under production due to the pandemic. His film 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' in particular, has been in production for quite a while now. Fans can now rejoice as Ajay has revealed the release date of the film and it's not very far. He shared a new poster of the film and wrote, "1971. THE GREATEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT. #BhujThePrideOfIndia releasing on 13th August only on @DisneyplusHSVIP."

Independence Day weekend is really the appropriate time for the release of a film like this. Based on the 1971 war against Pakistan, 'Bhuj' features Ajay Devgan as the real life squadron leader Vijay Karnik. He said about the film, "Bhuj is a true story based on real life characters. I am playing a Squadron Leader. It is a big scale film. The story revolves around how a handful of people stop the Pakistani army when the Indian army cannot reach them in time."

Apart from Ajay, film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk among others.
