The Adoor Gopalakrishnan movie Pinnayum starring Dileep & Kavya in the lead is all set to release on 18 th August, Thursday. The team behind, confirmed the date and all curious eyes are fixed on the date to see what has been brewed this time by master director Adoor Gopalakrishnan.

Dileep – Kavya are joining together for a project after a long gap of 6 years. Their last venture together was in "Vellaripravinte Changathi" in 2011. The duo`s onscreen chemistry is acclaimed and it later snowballed into many controversies.

Earlier they both have stated, if they come across a good script, they would surely work together.

Pinnayum was announced in March 2015 and it is the comeback movie of Adoor after eight long years. “Oru Pennum Randannum” released in 2008 was the last film from the esteemed director. Kavya joins the Adoor School for the second time; the first association was for “Naallu Pennungal”. Dileep teams up with him for the first time.

Adoor`s earlier foray into a romance drama was in "Swayamvaram". Many of his films handled different shades of romance.

Dileep plays a middle-class man`s role in this movie. His daughter`s role is portrayed by a popular child artist Baby Akshara Kishore.

M. J. Radakrishnan handles the camera. Cuts are by Ajithkumar and Kukku Parameshwaran is the production designer. The film is produced together by Baby Mathew and Adoor Gopalakrishnan.
