Ask any youngster about his dream, and he is most likely to say, "I want to be very successful in life." And how do people measure Success? Most often, through only one currency, which is currency or money. Wealth. Everyone has the dollar sign in their eyes, and often, many youngsters believe that the best and easiest, shortest cut to wealth is going abroad - to the Gulf, the Middle East.

But is life just a bed of roses out there? Not always, says the story of this thought-provoking film, Rehguzar - the Road to Destiny.

Inspired by the real-life experiences of its producer Kesar Kothali, Rehguzar seeks to paint the real picture of what happens when, with hopes in their eyes, the youth of India move abroad, to the Gulf, to chase their dreams. Especially painting the real life story of laborers in labor camps in the Gulf. The helpless labor class, which comes from different countries to the Gulf, dreaming that their lives will become a bed of roses  once they get there. What this story narrates is that life is not so easy in the Gulf too, and most of the expatriates have to work very hard to make their mark in order to live up to the expectations of their family members.

The story of Rehguzar shows the life of an engineer Rahul, played by Jimmy shrejill, who comes to Dubai with great dreams to become rich and famous. During his endeavors in Dubai, he has to pass through numerous hurdles, failures and successes. He encounters a lovely girl, Neha (played by Salloni), who is the daughter of a rich businessman (Rajiv Varma and Asha Bachani).

While the gripping drama of Rahul and his struggles and dreams unfolds, the film also promises a lot of comic relief through comedy star Rakesh Bedi, who plays  an ardent fan of the Big B Amitabh Bachchan. Another actor well known for his comic roles, Vrajesh Hirjee, plays the role of Rahul's best friend.

As Rehguzar unfolds, it depicts the life of Rahul and how it changes according to different circumstances.

Why should people watch this film? Here are a few reasons from Producer Kesar Kothari and director Farukh Masudi:

a) It is an eye-opener for people back in India  that life is not so easy for their bread earning loved ones in the Gulf.

b) The story moves at a fast pace, unfolding fact and fiction, love and hate, friendship and animosity, sadness and happiness, attempting to create a blend of a family entertainer.

c) The audience is likely to empathise with the dreams and struggles of the main characters Rahul and Neha.

d) The film is a step towards Indo-Pak friendship, especially because Pakistani and Indian stars have worked together in the film.

e) The film has the message that success is not possible without determination and hard work.
