Megastar Mammootty will join the sets of his new film with Shaji kailas-Renji Panikkar, by the 20th of this May. The actor who is now in his European tour will be in the role of Joseph Alex IAS, the super hit character that he performed for the movie 'The king'.The movie is expected to be titled as 'king-2'

According to the latest reports, Suresh Gopi will also come up in a cameo in this film which will have Reema Sen debuting into Malayalam. The actress who had done many films in Tamil and Tamil in very special roles like that of 'Minnale', 'Thimiru', 'Vallavan', and 'Aayirathil Oruvan'.But recently her movies didn't attain the expected success and had only very few movies with her.

'King-2' will also have Saikumar, Janardhanan and Devan in other important roles. Bharani K Dharan is the cameraman of the movie which will be shot in Delhi, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram in a single schedule. Anto Joseph produces the movie in the banner of Playhouse release.
