Reema Kallingal is the next big export from Mollywood to Kollywood. It was director Lal Jose who spotted her and first signed her for his first Tamil film ‘Mazhai Varappoguthu’. But her career got the boost even before Jose’s film. Rima became a known name with super hit films like Rithu, Neelathamara and Happy Husbands.

So what is the next step for somebody who has made it big first in Malayalam? They look across the border. From Asin to Meera Jasmine to Nayantara the list of Malayalam actresses who made it big in Kollywood is very long.

Following the foot steps of her predecessors even Reema has landed in Kollywood. Reema has signed her first major Tamil film opposite Bharath. The film is called ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’ which will be directed by GNR Kumaravel. Kumaravel is the one who directed the recent Prithviraj starrer 'Ninaithale Inikkum' which was the Tamil remake of ‘Classmates’.

'Yuvan Yuvathi' is a new age romance between two youngsters working in an IT firm. Parallel literature Writer Ramakrishnan has created the new generation love story in plush IT background after researching sources in IT companies and family courts.
