'RED' Trailer: Two Rams, double the intrigue!

'Double the Mass, Double the Thrill', the makers of 'RED' had said announcing the release of the action thriller's trailer. Does the trailer live up to the hype? It surely does, especially with the last moments. Ram Pothineni plays a dual role here, each more intriguing than the other.
His ways confound everyone, not in the least Nivetha Pethuraj's character, which is a cop. If Malvika Sharma and Amrita Aiyer are seen in romantic roles, Satya plays a comedian.
This remake of a Tamil movie projects its characters as smart more than brawny. One hopes the thriller is indeed an intelligent one even though the title itself suggests nothing of that sort.
After a massy hit like 'iSmart Shankar', Ram is once again back to doing 'dinchak dinchak' in item songs, complete with a beard. Produced by 'Sravanthi' Ravi Kishore, the Sankranthi release has music by Mani Sharma. Cinematography is by Sameer Reddy. Stunts are by Peter Hein. Art Direction is by AS Prakash.
