'iSmart Shankar' actor Ram Pothineni has on Saturday assured his fans that 'RED', the action-thriller, will surely have a theatrical release. He had to make this announcement in the face of rumours that 'RED' will skip theatres to go in for a direct OTT release because of the possible extension of the ongoing lockdown in the Telugu States.
"Nope! #RAPO (standing for RAm POthineni) is not in any dilemma. In fact, he has been chilling at home following the Government’s rules on Social Distancing and Home Quarantine (like he has been doing for the past 15 years or so) and also, he is waiting to see his fans watch #RedTheFilm on the BIG SCREEN!" the 'Nenu Sailaja' and 'Unnadi Okate Zindagi' actor tweeted out.
Directed by Kishore Tirumala, this one has Ram in dual roles and is a remake of the Tamil hit 'Thadam'. Nivetha Pethuraj is a cop, Malavika Sharma has a romantic role in the movie. Music is by Mani Sharma.
