After much deliberation about when the Mohanlal starrer ‘Red Chillies’ would release, it has now been confirmed that the film will be available for public consumption from Valentine's Day.

The film, an edge of the seat suspense thriller has been scripted by A K Saajan and directed by Shaji Kailash. The film has been produced by Rajaputhra films and distributed by Vaishakha. With no real competition, the film is expected to reap rich dividends for the producer and distributor.

The movie has Mohanlal as Omar, an NRI who runs an FM station. Singer Renjini Jose will be making her debut as an actress with this film. Others in the cast are Thilakan, Vijayaragahavan, Jagathy Sreekumar and nine new faces who appear as RJ's of the FM station.
