Actor Jiiva's 25th film 'Pokkiri Raja' has faced an unexpected bottleneck due to Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Puli'.

'Pokkiri Raja' directed by Ramprakash Rayappa of 'Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum' fame is ready for release and it was expected that the film would hit the screens by the end of February or early March 2016.

However some distributors of Tamil films have reportedly issued a Red Card for the film's release owing to the loss suffered by them on account of releasing 'Puli' which released amid huge expectations but ended up as a commercial dud.

'Pokkiri Raja' has been produced by P.T.Selvakumar of PTS Films banner and he had also produced by 'Puli' along with Shibu Thameens.

The Red Card issued by the distributors is likely to affect the release of 'Pokkiri Raja' and we hope the issue is amicably sorted out soon and the film releases as planned. .

'Pokkiri Raja' stars Jiiva, Hansika and Sibiraj in lead roles and the musical score has been rendered by D.Imman
