The first complete Red Camera shot Kannada cinema is children film 'Kamsale Kaisale' of Shruthalaya Films. One of the two producers Mahesh Nanjayya a wild life photographer basically acquired more knowledge of Red Camera and roped it for his film. a few of the Kannada films have roped in for a few portions already but the entire film shot in Red Camera is 'Kamsale Kaisale' a film that upholds the rich tradition of folk art in the direction of TS Nagabharana.

According producer Mahesh Nanjayya the cost of the camera and eight assistants cost just Rs.15 lakhs for one month. Three Red Cameras were sent and we needed it because lot of children part of this film and taking three angles would help very much at the editing table.

This is the age of digital camera and the further process and then bringing it on silver screen would give fine results hopes producer Mahesh Nanjayya.

According to ace director of Kannada cinema the sitting President of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy hiring this camera cost additional Rs.5 lakhs for the film 'Kamsale Kaisale'.
