As we all know veteran actor and yesteryear hearthrob Karthik and his son Gautham Karthik will be acting as father and son in a new film titled as 'Mr.Chandramouli'. The film to be directed by Thiru and produced by G.Dhananjayan will have Regina Cassandra as female lead while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be seen in an important character. 

Now the star cast of this exciting project has got even bigger with the inclusion of two national award winning directors. Director Mahendran who acted as the lead villain in Thalapathy Vijays 'Theri' and now acting as Udhayanidhi Stalin's father in 'Nimir' has been cast in an important role in 'Mr.Chandramouli'. Mahendran will be acting as a successful businessman in the film. 

Director Agathiyan who won a National award for the Ajith starrer 'Kadhal Kottai' will also be acting in the film. He will be acting as Karthik's friend in the film.

Interest Agathiyan is the father-in-law of Thiru and a good friend of Karthik with whom he had worked in the film 'Gokulathil Seethai'.
