In 2020, just before the pandemic, actor Ashok Selvan and Ritika Singh had acted in the romantic fantasy entertainer Oh My Kadavule which was directed by debutant Ashwath Marimuthu and this movie turned out to be a superhit.
Oh my Kadavule which also had a special appearance by Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi was appreciated by people from other industries as well and is getting remade in Telugu by Ashwath Marimuthu himself.
Now it has been revealed that Oh My Kadavule is getting a Bollywood remake and this Hindi version will also be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu himself. This Hindi adaptation is written by Umesh Shukla and produced by Endemol Shine, Merry Go Round Studios and Mumbai Talkeez and the cast will be announced soon.
