Rebel's success would lead to Tamil remake

Our trusted sources tell us that Raghava Lawrence has keen plans to remake Rebel in Tamil only if it roars at the Telugu Box Office. Thus, the director, who has considerable reputation in Kollywood, is waiting for the film's release on Sep 28 with his fingers crossed.

The last time something similar happened was when SJ Suryah wanted to remake Komaram Puli in Tamil if it worked in Telugu. He would often say, before the release of the film, that KP will be a monstrous hit in Telugu and that he will definitely remake it with himself as the hero.

If Rebel becomes a big hit, producers will queue up at Raghava Lawrence's house for sure. The big question is, who will reprise the Rebel Star's role in Tamil?
