The audio of Rebel was released in a grand style at Shilpa Kala Vedika yesterday evening. Many stalwarts, including the film's main cast and crew members, were present on the occasion.

The first CD was released by Krishnam Raju, who handed over to Rajamouli.

Rajamouli said: Lawrence has shown Prabhas as a mass action hero. I recently read that Prabhas is the biggest youth icon of Hyderabad. He never talks ill against any hero or director. Even his fans should imbibe this quality. I am waiting for this movie as much as you are. Deeksha Seth and Tamanna seem to be perfect fits."

Bellamkonda Suresh said: Rebel will be this year's best film. The stills, trailers show that the film has come out really well. The stories which Lawrence chooses come with many twists. Within three days of its release, Rebel will smash many records. People will exclaim about the revenue that a Telugu film can generate.

Deeksha Seth said: Lawrence's music is very good. He is a talented director. It was rollicking working with Prabhas. The producers were very helpful.

Ramajogayya Sastry said: Prabhas's fans are hungry. Even I am a fan of Prabhas. The songs I wrote for him have earned me lot of fame. (Amma Ledu song from Ek Niranjan and Bommalee from Billa). When I write to him, I feel like I am working for my brother. I like his inner personality. I have written 3 songs in the film.

Dil Raju said: Prabhas has done the best dances of his career in Rebel. Darling and Mr. Perfect were both English titles. Rebel, an English title, will become a hit. The producers have made an amazing film. Tamanna’s dance in the song 'Google' are great. You will swoon watching her after the film releases.

Brahmanandam said: It is not an exaggeration to say that Prabhas' acting is amazing. His comedy in the first half is top notch. Lawrence will score a hat trick with this film. People will go mad after Tamanna's dances. I have not seen a dancer like her in this generation.

Ali said: Darling and Mr. Perfect were like vegetarian food. Rebel is like chicken biryani and prawn dish. Lawrence has come up in life without anyone's support. Lawrence has portrayed Prabhas so powerfully like the way Rajamouli showed him in Chatrapathi.

Producer Pulla Rao said: We have made the film with lot of effort. We are confident that we will get back our returns. Our film has been bought by big producers (Dil Raju, NV Prasad). The film will be released on Sep 28.
