Rebecca Loos, David Beckham's former assistant, has criticized the soccer star for portraying himself as a victim in his Netflix docuseries. In a video interview with the Daily Mail, Loos, 46, broke her silence on their alleged affair, which resurfaced when Beckham was released.
Loos expressed frustration, saying Beckham made her look like a liar by positioning himself as a victim. She urged him to take responsibility for his actions. The docuseries reignited the scandal from 2004 when Loos claimed she had an affair with Beckham while he was married to Victoria Beckham.
Loos felt that Beckham's portrayal suggested she was responsible for Victoria's suffering. While Beckham indirectly referred to the affair saga in the docuseries, he stated it placed immense pressure on his marriage to Victoria, emphasizing their determination to fight for their family.
Rebecca Loos disagreed, asserting that the stories were true, and Beckham bore the responsibility for their choices, including deceiving his wife.
Loos decided to speak out despite receiving backlash after the docuseries' release, as she didn't want to be remembered as a liar. She wanted her children to know she stood up for the truth. She acknowledged her past mistakes but emphasized how they led her to a wonderful place in life.
Rebecca Loos has embraced her choices and expressed gratitude for her family and her present happiness. Representatives for Beckham and Loos declined to comment on the matter.
