This happened for real in a filmi style. An Asst Sub-Inspector named Madhubala Devi from Bihar's Darbhanga district used a picture of Nayanthara to pose as a lover girl interested in a gangster.

The gangster in question is Mohammed Hasnain. He had stolen the phone of a BJP leader. Call it over-confidence or idiocy, he continued to keep it with him, thinking that the leader wouldn't care about the mobile phone any longer. Least did he know that this mobile phone would end up causing his arrest.

When Madhubala was assigned the case, she thought of deceiving Hasnain by posing as a beautiful girl. She befriended him for several days. When the gangster asked her to send her picture, she sent Nayanthara's. This had the gangster no nuts. 'What a beauty!' he must have thought and immediately agreed to meet her. The rest is a predictable climax.
