The audio launch event of 'Subramanyam for Sale' was held in Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi graced the event as chief guest and launched the audio. The event was attended by Sai Dharam Tej, Regina, Dil Raju, Gopichand Malineni, Vamsi Paidipally, Harish Shankar etc.
Dil Raju said, "We distributed Pawan Kalyan's 'Tholiprema' in Nizam and I wanted to produce a film of Pawan Kalyan since then. But I didn't get a chance. But just 15 days back, the Powerstar gave his nod to work with me. I'm very happy now. I wanted to distribute Chiranjeevi's 150th film in Nizam and I already gave a blank cheque to Ram Charan to give the rights only to us. I hope Chiru will give us a chance to produce one of his films. We first narrated the story of 'Josh' to Chiranjeevi and wanted Ram Charan to act in the movie. But after two days, Chiranjeevi called us and said though the story is good, it will not be apt for Charan. I was very confident about the script and did it with Naga Chaitanya. After seeing the result of the film, I came to know the value of the Chiru's judgement. It is only because of that judgement, he became a megastar.Sai Dharam Tej is a very good actor and both of us share a very special bond. It is the reason why I'm working with him back to back. I hope this film will be a big hit".
Harish Shankar said, "I thank Chiranjeevi for attending this event though he has been tired attending parties for a few days.He is an inspiration to all of us. Though my previous film with Dil Raju, 'Ramayya Vasthavayya', was a disappointment, Dil Raju gave me one more chance believing in me. I am very thankful to him. I saw Sai Dharam Tej when I was working for 'Gabbar Singh' and I thought he is a good hero material. I had written the characterization of hero in Subramanyam for Sale long time back and I thought Sai Dharam Tej is very apt for the role. It's been a great working with him. I hope this film will be successful".
Sai Dharam Tej said, "As my uncle Chiranjeevi has been busy for a few days, I was initially hesitant to invite him for the audio launch. But when I asked, he immediately agreed. It is because he considers everyone of us and fans as his family. Dil Raju has been a great support to me. He is like a good friend to me and I love working with him. I thank Harish Shankar for believing that I will be apt for the hero role. I was initially not so confident if I can do that role. But he explained every minute detail to me and if I acted well in this film, it is only because of him. I am ready to work with him any time. I learnt a lot from my co-star Regina. She is a good hard worker. I thank everyone for being here. I promise I will work hard to entertain fans".
Chiranjeevi said, "The joy of fans is my driving force and I will be ever thankful to them. Though I've been not acting for a few years, my heart is always here. I heard that Subramanyam for Sale is on the lines of my 'Mogudu Kavali' and 'Bavagaru Bagunnara'. If it is true, it will be a good entertainer. I hope Tej is not similar to us in looks, but he also works hard like us. After watching 'Gabbar Singh', I was stunned and felt I want a script like it and director like Harish Shankar. It is a very entertaining film. The director for my 150th film is not yet confirmed and if directors like Harish Shankar and Vamsi Paidipally come with a good script, I will definitely work with them. I will definitely encourage young and energetic directors like them. Dil Raju is a very good producers and he is very successful because he looks after everything. Big producers like Ashwini Dutt, Trivikrama Rao etc used to be like him. I want to work with a producer like Dil Raju. I wish the entire team of 'Subramanyam For Sale' all the very best".
Regina Cassandra said that she is very happy to have worked with Tej after Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham and Harish Shankar taught a lot to her like a teacher.
