Ready to sacrifice life for people: Superstar Rajinikanth

Hours after announcing that he will be launching his political party in January 2021, Superstar Rajinikanth met the media outside his Chennai residence on Thursday. Speaking to the media, the legendary actor said that he is ready to sacrifice even his life for the sake of the Tamil people.

In his typical style, Rajini said, It's now or never. Sounding like a consummate politician, the '2.0' actor said that it will be the people's victory if he wins. It will be their defeat if I lose, he added. Tamil Nadu will be going for elections next year.

Talking about the kidney transplant he underwent in 2016, he said, For that transplant, I needed low immunity. When coronavirus is there, I am in need of high immunity. The 'Kaala' actor suggested that he is alive because of his fans.

Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Narayanan Thirupathi has been quoted as saying by NDTV that the saffron party will be appealing to Rajini to support it.
