This remake of a Tamil film Sundara Purusha is being directed by debutant Lakshmi Narayana alias Deepti.

Produced by Super Good Films, Andala Ramudu is not a copy cat film. In other words, there have been many changes in the script to suit the local taste. The movie’s talkie part is over and the film will release next month. Ramesh-Gopi’s extra comedy dialogues are said to be a highlight of the movie.

Sunil, who says that he would continue to play comedy roles, is happy with what he has done in the film. This is just an extension of a comedy character and I am enjoying the film, he adds.

Arti, who is doing the role done by Rambha in the Tamil original, is also comfortable in the role. She is at ease playing a character who is uncomfortable with intense love.
